Album and single artwork for recording artists.

Process

Cover art is a square that has to work at three inches on a CD and at 55 pixels in a streaming app. Anything that only reads at full size fails where most people will actually see it. I design the small version first. If the artwork survives being shrunk to a thumbnail — if the artist name is still readable and the image still reads as one idea — then it will hold at any size above that. Working the other direction almost never survives the trip down.
